San Francisco Depth Psychotherapy

Zak Forrest, LMFT

Psychotherapy Blog

This is a blog written by a psychotherapist for anyone interested in psychology, social issues, politics, spirituality, and other topics surrounding the human condition.

A self, a relationship, a life is created through moments of integration and disintegration, rupture and repair, clarity is found then obscured, only to be found again. Confusion is welcome. I invite you, the reader, to try and engage your mind in a way that includes your emotion. The two must dialogue for reflection to occur.

This is a blog about psychology, sociology, politics, and the human condition through the lens of a psychoanalytically informed San Francisco based therapist. It is as much for my audience as it is for myself. I approach writing it much like I approach psychotherapy: A time and place where past and present converge in creation of one's self for a desired future.
